Medical Measurement Technology Development Lab

This lab course is designed to give you hands‑on experience with biomedical measurement techniques such as ECG and PPG, which are introduced theoretically in the corresponding lecture. Through a series of experiments, you will build amplifier circuits with analog filters and implement basic signal‑processing steps on the PC.

Prerequisite for Participation
The module Medical Measurement Technology Lab consists of three mandatory components:
- Medical Measurement Technology Preparatory Lecture
- Medical Measurement Technology Preparatory Lab
- Medical Measurement Technology Development Lab
Participation in the Medical Measurement Technology Development Lab requires successful completion of both the Preparatory Lecture and the Preparatory Lab through ungraded written and practical coursework.

Registration & Allocation of Lab Places
Successful participants of the Medical Measurement Technology Preparatory Lab and of the Medical Measurement Technology Preparatory Lab will be automatically enrolled in the ILIAS course of the Medical Measurement Technology Development Lab.
If you do not gain access to the Development Lab via this direct pathway, please send an email to Charis Kahlmeyer.
All important information regarding groups, schedules, and laboratory experiments will be published in ILIAS.
