Regional comparison of conduction velocity in atrial fibrillation patients using an eikonal-based method

  • Conduction velocity (CV) is an important marker for characterizing cardiac tissue. Current methods that neglect anisotropy introduce significant numerical errors. A new eikonal-based method for calculating CV is adapted in this project to study clinical data. First, the method is modified to be robust to measurement errors typical of patients data. Then, a regional comparison will be made between AF patients and SR patients using the new method.
