Kickoff of the KIT-coordinated MSCA doctoral network

TrackAF aims to improve the prediction, diagnosis and treatment of atrial fibrillation and atrial cardiomyopathy through interdisciplinary research and innovative computational models, and to develop personalised prevention and treatment strategies.

The kickoff of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network TrackAF marks the start of a shared research and training journey for its 15 doctoral candidates and their supervisors. TrackAF aims to improve the prediction, diagnosis and treatment of atrial fibrillation and atrial cardiomyopathy through interdisciplinary research and innovative computational models, and to develop personalised prevention and treatment strategies. The meeting in Maastricht provided an opportunity to get to know one another, exchange research ideas and build collaborations. The European network’s kickoff meeting was accompanied by the first three technical and transferable skills training modules. We look forward to working together over the coming years to train the next generation of medical scientists and further develop the network!
